Prior to joining One + One, LLC, Sean worked for over nine years with the fifth largest public
accounting firm in the nation. While with that firm, Sean gained over five years of
experience in the risk advisory services practice providing various value-added services.
Those services included Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, process improvement, policies and
procedures development, forensic accounting, fraud investigation and internal audit.
Sean also advised executives, boards of directors and audit committees in various industries
as a part of those services.

Responsible for the accounting function of various not-for-profits, private health care providers, a media company, a MWD and a law firm. Sean is currently responsible for the preparation of financial statements, budgets, monthly reconciliations, payroll, state and local tax requirements, customer invoicing, vendor payments and ongoing record keeping. Sean has also provided guidance to management on process improvements and ways to grow the clients' organizations.
Responsible for oversight of a non-profit's accounting staff. Sean is currently reviewing the monthly activity and preparing monthly financial statements for executive management. Sean works directly with the organization's external auditors and provides requests throughout the audit process. Sean recommended and implemented process improvements and developed process flowcharts for the organization's significant process areas.
Assisted management of a local chapter of a globally recognized not-for-profit organization in performing an organization-wide
risk assessment, including the development of a three year audit plan. Sean also managed the audit plan execution, which
included the assessment, development and implementation of their significant process area policies and procedures, while
providing guidance and recommendations throughout the process.
Managed the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and internal audit efforts of a publicly traded pharmaceutical benefits management
company earning revenue in excess of five billion dollars. Sean was the main point of contact for these efforts over a five year
span. Sean also assisted management with their assessment, development and implementation of processes that are included in
their SSAE No. 16 report.
Assisted management of an international design build and construction company with the development and implementation of
their company-wide accounting policies and procedures manual. Sean also provided best practice advice throughout the process.
